Head of a Woman offer a work-in-progress showing of Six Listeners (a sound installation) to an invited audience at the Central School of Speech and Drama.

Head of a Woman are very pleased to have been invited back to the Central School of Speech and Drama to lead the Interdisciplinary Practice Unit for a week for MA Advanced Theatre Practice students. The workshop is based on approaches to generating and developing performance material, based on the working process of Head of a Woman, and with a focus on strategies for making the most of the different skills and perspectives present in a group.

 

8th October 2012

Central School of Speech and Drama has invited Head of a Woman to lead an induction workshop for the postgraduate intake for 2012-13. The three hour workshop will see nearly 300 students take part in a workshop exploring, through discussion, mathematics and performance, how we might begin to understand what it is to belong to a group identity.

Head of a Woman will be performing a week's run of their work Grey Matters: A Play for Six Brains and Curricula Vitae at the Chelsea Theatre.

Following a two week artist's residency in the West Fjords of Iceland, Head of a Woman are performing their work in a contemporary theatre venue in Reykjavik. We are very pleased to be sharing the first public performance of Curricula Vitae with an Icelandic audience and look forward to presenting Grey Matters: A Play for Six Brains once more.

Head of a Woman are extremely proud to be performingGrey Matters: A Play for Six Brains at the Slovak National Theatre as part of the Istropolitana Projekt 2012.It was wonderful to spend a week in Bratislava visting numerous theatre venues and seeing some interesting work.

Head of a Woman are excited to perform Grey Matters: A Play for Six Brains as part of SHOWTiME festival at Rich Mix, London. The three-day festival, curated by Present Attempt, was a fantastic display of new contemporary work crossing a range of disciplines.
